Terms of Adoption

All of our animals are, to the best of our knowledge, healthy at the time of sale. However, we can not be responsible for any veteranarian expenses incurred after possession of the animal has been transferred.​ In the event of genetic or congenital issue resulting in death of the animal, replacement or partial refund may be negotiated. 

 

Payments made for all animals via electronic means (i.e., credit/debit card, PayPal, etc.) will include a 3% non-refundable transaction fee, per transaction. To avoid this extra expense, cashier's checks or money orders may be used, and of course, cash is always welcomed. Personal checks will be accepted, but must be received and cleared prior to pick up/delivery of the order.  A $25 "bounce fee" will be added to any return check.

All deposits made are non-refundable.

We want all of our animals to be happy and healthy throughout their entire lives, so if, for any reason, you become unable to provide a suitable home for the animal, and a new home needs to be located, we understand and encourage all our adoptive families to contact us first.  We will do everything we can to help relocate the animal and, when possible, provide an appropriate compensation. This is not time sensitive, but remains in effect for the life of the animal. 

 

If for any reason you wish to return or exchange the animal for reasons other than the health of the animal, upon receipt, replacement will be at our discretion. Exchanges or returns will be looked into carefully, as all attempts are made to deliver a healthy animal matched to the requests and specifications provided us.

 

Arranging the pickup, delivery, or shipping of your new critter will be completed via email or phone, once payment or deposit are received.  Please be aware that shipping is an additional fee, and will be due along with the balance (if a deposit was placed) or prior to the arrangement of shipping (if paid in full).
